On behalf of Aveni Foundation and our Board of Directors, I would like to thank all who attended Aveni Foundation’s private event, “An Evening with Gustavo Santaolalla,” and who contributed their talents and resources in celebration, in tribute, and in support of our mission: Broadly, to expedite the development of gene-targeted technologies for cancer and Parkinson’s disease, and specifically, to resurrect DeltaRex-G for the benefit of cancer patients worldwide. Special acknowledgment must be extended to Gustavo and his gifted team of musicians and engineers for a unique and memorable performance; to Dr. Sant and Kusum Chawla for welcoming us to their beautiful Beverly Hills home and providing delicious Indian cuisine; and to our Emcees Sara Welch and Honorable Marc Aveni for setting such an engaging tone for the evening. With gratitude to our sponsors: BostonGene Corp., Immix Biopharma, Zouk Capital, Expression Therapeutics, Delta Next-Gene, and Counterpoint Biomedica; to Telefora for providing the sparkling flower bouquets; to Trader Joes for providing beverages; to Fender for donating two guitars; to Isidric Panganiban’s team (photography & videography), Barbara Hollander (silent auctioneer), Marty Berwitt (event advisor); and last but not least, to our event planners: Dr. Chet Bohac, Mark Nguyen, Mia Radcliffe, and Kevin Winston, for such an outstanding and seamless execution! Together, we made this event a success!
