Letter from Sandra Aveni Pohlman

Our family was able to gain several more decades with our Uncle, Father Joesph Aveni, due to the care of Dr. Gordon. The Aveni Foundation is a beautiful and touching tribute to our Uncle’s life and cancer recovery. I recall when he was very ill and we thought it was his time. Having already lost my father to prostate cancer it was unfortunately a familiar course of events. We were all shocked and amazed at his not just improvement, but real recovery. I now know this was thanks Dr Gordon and her innovative approach to cancer therapy.

If your metastatic cancer research and DeltaRex-G can save those in need, regardless of income or location, this would truly be a miracle. As relatives of the late Father Aveni, we are honored to help support the foundation and your efforts.

A Message from Dr. Erlinda Gordon, Aveni Foundation President

On behalf of Aveni Foundation, I would like to thank all who contributed their talents and resources this past week; in celebration, in tribute, and in support of our mission to provide effective alternatives to cancer patients. Special mention must be made to ABT Principals Stella Abrera & James Whiteside and the ABT Studio Company, whose moving performances uplifted and enriched us all; to Tina Finn and the Red Hill Country Club, who provided a stunning setting for a day of high-spirited sportsmanship; to YouTuber and LGPA Golf Pro Aimee Cho for lending her voice to spread awareness; and finally, to Hope and Nancy Stringer whose generous donation made it possible for us to manufacture sufficient DeltaRex-G to treat 20 cancer patients. To all our donors, and in advance, to all our future donors—

Thank you,

Erlinda M. Gordon, M.D.

“The oncologist offered nothing in the way of hope, just the option of more of the same chemo that I’d already had and him telling me it’s unlikely I’ll live as long a life as I should…

“Luckily his pessimism led me on to this new path. Research commenced immediately after that appointment and I started my new alternative regime shortly after…

Rosario Lazo’s Testimony (10 year pancreas cancer survivor)

Excerpts from Rosario’s testimony (full text below):

“It’s been ten years since I was first diagnosed with a life threatening disease, pancreatic cancer at the terminal stage.”

“At first, I had my doubts because the drug was on clinical trial. What encouraged me to experience DeltaRex-G was the fact that it kills only the targeted cells and spares the normal ones.”

“I prayed hard that whatever will be the outcome, it will be for the good of humanity , to prove that it can cure the disease so that others too can try or to refine the drug so that it will be more effective to combat cancer.”

“On the first day, I sat on a comfortable chair and a nurse gave me a dose of the drug through intravenous injection. The administration of DeltaRex-G took only ten minutes. I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort…no forms of discomfort such as nausea, vomiting, or loss of appetite. I could go to places where I want to without any hassle and do some routine jobs like any other normal person.”

“In general, the changes were awe-inspiring. CT scan results show that the tumor had shrank considerably in the pancreas and liver after a month.”

Dr. Jorge Ignacio (Rosario’s oncologist):

“Mrs. Lazo’s recovery is very dramatic and it’s something you cannot refute because that’s pancreatic cancer. We all know that it doesn’t usually respond very well to treatment.”

Mond Florida's Testimony (10 year osteosarcoma survivor)

Excerpts from Mond’s testimony (full text below):

“Rexin-G was the last medical treatment I had and as of now that is nearing a decade in the past. The stability in my condition that it was able to provide me is priceless.”

“More often than not cancer patients have to go through all the “usual” treatments like chemo, radiation and medical operation and only when everything seems lost do they look into these non-traditional treatments. I truly believe that if we make treatments like this more accessible and available to cancer patients, there is a big chance that it can really help.”

“Apart from the usual tests periodically done (CT scans, blood tests etc.), the actual treatment itself is surprisingly easy and stress free (which is, in my opinion, a very positive aspect of the treatment)…The daily routine is quite simple and not time consuming…the patient can go back to his normal routine after the treatment without being hampered by any side effects.”

“Being able to live a normal life for nearly a decade now is a win against cancer by itself. It is a miracle that I can only hope more cancer patients can experience as well.”

James B. Finn (February 9,1949 - January 20, 2018) of Wofford Heights, CA, was a celebrated PGA golf professional who was employed for over 25 years and dearly loved by the Red Hill Country Club members. On October 23, 2018, a Ladies Golf Tournament was held at the Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga in honor of Jim who died of rhabdomyosarcoma.  Jim was treated at the Cancer Center of Southern California/Sarcoma Oncology Center in Santa Monica CA and participated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial aimed at vaccinating him against his sarcoma. His wife, Tina, made it her mission to raise money towards finding a cure for sarcoma.
